The American company Monoprice, which produces speakers under the Monolith brand, has expanded its portfolio with two THX Ultra-certified subwoofers. Both subwoofers are equipped with long-throw proprietary paper and fiberglass speakers. Technical details for the 13-inch model are known to date. The older 16-inch subwoofer will hit the market later, so the company hasn’t announced its specifications yet.

As for the 13-inch version, it has a power of 2,000 watts (peak power – 3,800 watts). The subwoofer contains a class D amplifier and a Texas Instruments chip, responsible for adjusting the sound and equalizing the frequency response.
